While obtaining my master’s degree, in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas, I was afforded clinical experiences as a high school social worker at Hogan Preparatory Academy, and as a therapist at Johnson County Community Mental Health as part of the crisis walk-in team.

Post graduation I obtained Geriatric Champion Certification through The University of Kansas Medical Center in 2015, and have been the recipient of a two year Fellowship with The Greater Kansas City Psychoanalytic Institute in 2019-2021.

I began my private practice in the Lee's Summit area, in 2015, counseling children and adults involved with the Department of Children and Families and in high conflict cases involving families.  Another valuable experience was the time I spent treating patients in skilled nursing facilities across Missouri.

My training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing was in 2021, and I anticipate receiving my certification before the end of 2026.
